Web development in Nepal, built to order.

TakuraTech is a Nepali web studio. We design and build custom websites, online stores and web apps from our studios in Bhaktapur and Pokhara, for businesses anywhere in Nepal and anywhere in the world. Every site is written by hand rather than assembled from a template, quoted at a fixed price, and handed over as something you own outright.

Built around how business actually works here.

A website built for a Nepali business has a different job to one built anywhere else. Most of your visitors arrive on a phone, often on mobile data, and they decide in a few seconds whether you look like a business worth calling. Payment habits are local. Half your customers may read Nepali first and half English. None of that is handled by picking a template and swapping the photographs, which is why we do not work that way.

01

Payments your customers already use

eSewa, Khalti, bank transfer or cash inside Nepal, and Wise, PayPal or card from abroad. Online stores are set up around what people will actually pay with.

02

Fast on a phone, on mobile data

Hand-coded pages instead of a page-builder theme, so there is far less to download. Every site is tested on real phones before a single visitor sees it.

03

Nepali, English, or both

We work in both languages. Which one your site leads with is a decision we make with you at the start, based on who is actually buying.

04

The domain stays in your name

Domain and hosting are registered to you, not to us, and the finished site is yours outright. Leaving is always possible, which is rather the point.

Anywhere in Nepal, and outside it

The studios are in Bhaktapur and Pokhara. The work itself runs over messages, email and calls, so where your business sits changes nothing except when we schedule the call.

Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur, where our head studio is. Close enough to meet in person when a project calls for it.

Pokhara and Gandaki

Our second studio, and the tourism businesses around it. There is a page just for Pokhara if that is where you are.

The rest of the country

Chitwan, Butwal, Biratnagar, Dharan, Nepalgunj, or a district headquarters with one road in. The process does not need you in the room.

Nepali businesses abroad

Working from Nepal for clients in other time zones is routine here. Calls are scheduled around you and payment can come whichever way suits.

Questions we get from businesses in Nepal

How much does a website cost in Nepal?

Every project is quoted after a short conversation, because a one-page site for a consultant and an online store with a hundred products are not the same job. You get a fixed price and a delivery date in writing before any work starts, and neither moves afterwards.

Do I have to be in Kathmandu or Pokhara to work with you?

No. The studios are in Bhaktapur and Pokhara, but the work runs over messages, email and calls, so we work with businesses anywhere in Nepal. Nothing about the process needs you in the room.

Can I pay with eSewa or Khalti?

Yes. Inside Nepal you can pay by eSewa, Khalti, bank transfer or cash. From abroad, bank transfer, Wise, PayPal or card. Half up front to start, half when the site goes live, with no subscriptions and no hidden charges.

Who owns the domain and hosting?

You do. Both are registered in your name and stay yours, so you are never locked to us. Budget roughly US$25 to 60 a year for the pair depending on where you register them. Setting them up and connecting your site is included in the build.

Can the site be in Nepali as well as English?

Yes. We work in both, and the site can be built in either or in both together. Tell us at the start which languages your customers actually read and the structure is planned around that.

Will it load quickly on a phone on mobile data?

That is the first thing it is built for. Every site is hand-coded rather than assembled from a page-builder theme, which is most of the reason the pages stay small, and every one is tested on real phones before it goes live.

Ready to put your business online?

Tell us about your project. Most people hear back within one business day.
